About this event

Memorial Day weekend campout and a smorgasbord of regional day ride options based in Walla Walla, WA at the home of Dwight and Alice Gladden.

Because of limited space, camping is limited to 20 people including no more than 5 (five) small RV’s (pickups with campers or similar size motorized RVs). Riders may also arrange their own lodging (hotel, motel, AirBnB) but for catering purposes, we will limit this to no more than 6 (six) additional people.

Food and beverages are provided as outlined below. We’ll have 2 porta-potties; lawn space for tents. Other than perhaps Friday night, you shouldn’t need to cook anything, but if you insist, we do have electricity and some sheltered areas available.

LOGISTICS and ACTIVITIES

Friday, May 23rd - Plan to arrive after 2PM and before 8 PM. If you are bringing a small RV, you must get permission from Eric Ball (balle@pocketinet.com) given the limited parking area. RV participants count towards the 20 person limit, so check for space on the BMWRO sign up before requesting an RV spot. If you plan on staying under a roof (AirBnB, motel, etc), you must also get permission from Eric so we can count mouths for catering.

Saturday, May 24th - There will be a selection of guided and self-guided rides (gravel and non-gravel) available as well as a wine tasting tour option. If you are interested in the wine tour, let Eric know so we can sort out logistics.

Sunday, May 25th - Same as above.

Monday, May 26th - Departure after breakfast (no later than 10AM, please).
