Team Oregon Cornering Skills Class--Friday Morning
Details:
The class starts with an hour-long classroom session at 8:30am in Keerins Hall for a discussion of cornering, riding strategy, and technique. Afterward, the group will embark from the Keerins Hall Parking Lot for a 1.5 hour ride to put ART (Advanced Riding Techniques) to work on real asphalt. There will be opportunities during the ride for group discussion and professional feedback. This class has been offered at the rally in recent years to rave reviews! These classes are limited to 12 riders each day, so sign up early. These classes fill up fast! This clinic is focused on street riding. Bring your questions and your hang-ups – the discussion is wide open. Dual-sports, three-wheelers, scooters and passengers are welcome. Start with a full gas tank. Let’s ride!

Team Oregon Braking Skills Clinic--Friday afternoon
Details:
The class meets at 1:45 p.m. at the Grant County Road Dept, just west of town and ends at 4:15 pm. Pick up a map from the Info Booth. You’ll get instruction and practice in proper braking technique and emergency braking from real street speeds. If your bike has ABS, you’ll get the opportunity to try it. You’ll learn to read the clues that lead up to emergency situations. You’ll walk away with a better understanding of your bike and what it takes to get it stopped on command. These classes are limited to 12 riders each day, so sign up early. Two-wheeled bikes only, and no passenger, please!

Cowboy Lunch Ride -- Friday
Details:
A return of this very popular event, hosted by the Grant County Stock Growers Association! Jay Bennett will lead the group along a scenic route to a location TBD where lunch will be served by local ranchers and you'll have an opportunity to learn about the life of a rancher. This year the menu will be changing to feature grass-fed burgers along with the usual fixin's for a fantastic chuckwagon meal! Gather at the Main Gate Parking Lot at 9:30 with a full gas tank, and check in with Jay. You must be pre-registered for this activity.
