I think we’re ready! First Ride of the Season. Saturday looks to have highs in the mid-70’s. But with temps still on the cool side until mid-day, we’re gonna start 11-ish.
MEET: Rogue River, Cottage Cafe & Grill. Address: 210 E Main St, Rogue River, OR 97537
TIME: Show time is 11, for coffee, b-fast, pee-break.
DEPART: Pls have tanks full, and bladders empty, be ready to ride by 11:30, probably more like 11:45. If you do elect to straggle in after 11:30, pls be ready to roll with the group.
ROUTE: Out towards Wimer, to Elderberry Flats. See if we can make it thru to Galesville Res, then either east on 36 towards Trail, or west on 36 over to I-5 and either the Cow Creek loop, or?
IF we get turned back going to Galesville due to snow, then reverse course, and maybe the Jacksonville / Applegate loop.
Also, and if you’ve got this far, congrats, but would really like to hear from everyone on your intentions for the Chief Joseph Rally in June. We now have a full-fledged Treasurer, and we do have a de-facto CHR Rally Master, so we’re anticipating a full-on rally this year. So we do hope you all will attend the group rally. If you’re planning on attending pls let us know, so we can think about a group ride to the event. Or not, your call. ;-)
pls do let me know if you plan on coming this Saturday. i like to have an idea of group numbers.
